Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Listed below are some of the most common questions that we encounter. If your question is not answered here, please message us and we will reply within 24 hours.
How do you deliver products?
We use private carriers to ship to your driveway just as a regular freight company would do. We partner up with freight services who tend to offer the best freight forwarder services at affordable prices like Seaway Logistics.
If White Glove delivery service is required, please make us aware of all the details of your request PRIOR to ordering. This will allow us to get an accurate quote from a carrier so they can be prepared with an extra person, equipment, etc. White Glove delivery includes anything other than unloading in your driveway.
How do I maintain my wood-based products?
All Cedar wood products can be stored outside. Cedar is naturally mold, mildew and pest resistant and is finished with a water based stain/sealant that carries a 6 to 10 year guarantee before reapplication of stain is needed. Number of years is dependent on your choice of semi-transparent or solid stain.
Do you ship to Canada?
Shipments can be made to Canada. Shipping rates are higher and the customer is responsible for all customs and broker fees and additional fees for packaging requirements. We make sure we have the best logistics companies and the best Customs Broker too, to ensure your products arrive in exceptional condition.
What happens if my product arrives damaged?
Rustic WoodWorx ships all items FOB Origin. This means title transfers to the customer when the carrier picks up. We highly recommend that you purchase SHIPPING INSURANCE on your order if you will not be able to inspect the item at delivery.
In the unlikely event an item is damaged when delivered, YOU MUST do the following:
1) Make a detailed list of damages on the carriers Bill of Lading;
2) Take pictures of the damage;
3) Call Rustic WoodWorx while the carrier is present to determine a course of action.
Rustic WoodWorx is not responsible for paying shipping fees in the event an item needs to be replaced or repaired.
